Problem Statement

Prostitution and child trafficing is majorly increasing in Kenya. It is a huge introducer of HIV in families, newborn babies, and all areas of society. It’s also a big loss for Kenyan economy. Because these people are not working and creating businesses. And the cost of medical and mental health services for unwell people. There is also no stable family or role model when the mother is a prostitute. Many children also won’t have any chance to know or gain support from their father, who was a forgotten customer.
Children of prostitutes are likely to become prostitutes, and even work together with their mother. And there are many cases of children being pulled out of school for weeks who are being trafficed. Because their foreign abuser is in town, and they are being sold by the parents. This also invites men who want to abuse boys. Childhood abuse creates lifelong traumas that can push people’s life in the wrong direction. Red Cross is also hearing husband’s are selling their wives. Men are selling themselves to foreign men for higher risk gay sex.
This is creating a multigenerational breakdown of family stability, work ethic, health, and morality. Something very strong needs to be done as Kenya escalates in this cycle. But there is no solution.
